Reduce your use of music control, music apps, on-wrist calls, contactless payments, and connected or built-in GPS. Use phone GPS on Charge 4 and Charge 5 to allow the tracker to connect to your nearby phone’s GPS sensors. On certain Fitbit devices, you can change your Screen Timeout setting to adjust the amount of time your screen stays on. For more information, see How do I see the time on my Fitbit device? Turn off the always-on display setting on Charge 5, Inspire 3, Luxe, Sense, Sense 2, Versa 2, Versa 3, and Versa 4. 
In the Settings app on your device, find the brightness setting, and tap to change it.
Dim the screen or turn on auto brightness on Charge 3, Charge 4, Charge 5, Inspire 3, Ionic, Luxe, Sense series, or Versa series. If you move your hands a lot, your device’s screen may turn on more often than you realize. Prevent the screen from turning on each time you turn your wrist. For more information, see How do I charge my Fitbit device? Avoid charging your device in extreme cold or heat-below 32☏ and above 113° F (below 0° C and above 45° C). Keep in mind that it can take up to 2 hours to charge your device to 100%. 
Sense, Sense 2, Versa 3, and Versa 4 have a battery life of up to 12 hours. Ionic has a battery life of up to 10 hours. If you use built-in GPS continuously, Charge 4 and Charge 5 have a battery life of up to 5 hours, Charge 4 and Charge 5 have a battery life of up to 4 days. Luxe, Sense, and Versa 3 have a battery life of up to 2 days. Charge 5, Inspire 3, Sense 2, Versa 2, and Versa 4 have a battery life of up to 3 days. *Using features such as always-on display and GPS require more frequent charging. 
Note that after several hundred charge cycles, your device may need to be charged more often. We recommend that you use the charging cable that came with your device. Because battery life is affected by use and other settings, actual results may vary.
